Nosy Be

The legendary, heavenly Nosy Be ("Big Island"), also called Nosy Manitra, "fragrant", is the largest of over twenty charming islands dotted with the warm waters of the Mozambique Channel. It is one of the most popular Madagascar resorts, where you can spend a perfect holiday among the lush, exuberant greenery. Wonderful beaches stretching along the west coast, blue sky, opalescent sea, golden sand and the omnipresent, sensual scent of ylang-ylang flowers - can you ask for anything more while sipping a drink on a veranda covered in purple bougainvillea? If so, the range of entertainment is extensive: in addition to water attractions, of which island hopping is definitely worth recommending, it is worth visiting the interesting Lokobe Reserve, cocoa, ylang-ylang and vanilla plantations, climbing Mont Passot, which offers a view of the entire island, seeing lakes and waterfalls, the crater, and finally – setting off on a hike or by bike.
