Planet Escape 2021 Recap
Oh, what a year it was! Although not easy in terms of travel – constantly changing regulations and restrictions can unsettle even the most patient – it was surprisingly successful.
During our travels, we focused largely on Europe, which was the easiest to access for obvious reasons, and we visited the Greek islands of Santorini, Paros, Mykonos and Ios, Spain, Montenegro, Cyprus, Iceland and Georgia (you will soon read about whether Georgia is in Europe on our blog). There was also no shortage of slightly more exotic destinations, such as Mexico and Jordan, and in the fall our team set off for Zanzibar to check whether the hotels sold by Planet Escape meet the expectations of the most demanding customers. Anticipating your questions – yes, they absolutely do! However, the biggest surprise and discovery this year were two countries that we previously considered to be all-inclusive tourist hells – Egypt and Turkey. As it turned out, all you need to know is which places to choose in these countries (and which to avoid) to spend an exceptionally pleasant holiday there, surrounded by wonderful nature and rich culture, with a guarantee of excellent weather and even better cuisine. The real gem, of which we are particularly proud, is our new tour program to Socotra – the island at the end of the world, visited by only a few thousand people a year!
The result of our travels are new programs that appear on the website. In 2021, our offer has been enriched by, among others:
AFRICA
AMERICAS
AUSTRALIA
