The Ford Mustang is a real treat for car enthusiasts. And the opportunity to test drive the car during a two-week road trip around the US is a dream come true! Magda and Maciek's first destination after landing was a trip to Sequoia National Park. Despite the snow and cold, they managed to get there and take some great shots as a souvenir.

Sequoias are real giants! They can grow to about 95 m tall and weigh up to 200 tons… Sequoias are long-lived trees, they can reach the age of 2000-3250 years. They can seem almost immortal: they are resistant to pests, fungi and even fire. The tallest tree in the world grows in Sequoia National Park – the General Sherman Tree. It is 84 m tall and weighs over 1200 tons!

After Sequoia National Park, it was time for one of the biggest attractions in the USA – Death Valley, one of the hottest places on Earth. On July 10, 1913, the temperature reached 56,7 degrees Celsius! In the photos above, the picturesque Mesquite Flat Dunes, located in practically the central part of Death Valley.

A must-see when visiting Death Valley is the Zabriskie Point overlook. From here, you can admire the characteristic rock formations known as badlands.

One of the hottest areas on our planet – Badwater Basin. It was formed about 3000 years ago as a result of the drying up of the lake that was located here. Its bottom is covered with unusual, regular, hexagonal salt sheets.

Almost everyone planning a trip to the US dreams of driving across the country along the famous Route 66. The historic highway connecting Chicago with Los Angeles was opened on November 11, 1926 (in 1936 it was extended to Santa Monica).

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… 🙂

One of the greatest wonders of nature, the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River in northern Arizona, is the world's largest river gorge. The canyon is 446 km long, 800 m wide at its narrowest point, and 29 km wide at its widest! The views, you have to admit, are amazing!

Monument Valley – a region located entirely within the Navajo Indian Reservation. Scattered over a vast area are rock formations, reaching heights of up to 300 m, the so-called mound, is one of the most recognizable landscapes in the entire United States. This place "played a role" in many westerns. Including John Ford's films - How the West Was Won, Rio Grande, as well as in 2001: A Space Odyssey, Back to the Future Part III, Forrest Gump, The Lone Ranger and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

A trip to Antelope Canyon is a real treat for avid photographers! This masterpiece of nature is the result of millions of years of severe erosion of sandstone. About 16 miles from the Canyon is another place worth visiting. Horseshoe Bend is a lookout point that offers one of the most spectacular views of the Colorado River.

Another place that during holidays in the USA Magda and Maciek visited Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park in Utah. Originally shaped rock pillars can be seen on every continent, but it is in Bryce Canyon that nature has gathered the largest collection of them in the world! In Zion Park there are numerous waterfalls, rivers and cliffs, winding canyons. And the offer of active leisure is really rich - hiking and biking, kayaking, off-road driving, horse riding...

A real treat for motoring enthusiasts is a visit to the Caroll Shelby Museum. Caroll Shelby is an American rally driver and designer. He drove for Maserati and Aston Martin, setting 16 time records. The rally driver designed the famous Cobra cars and also participated in the work on the most famous sports cars in the world, including the Ford GT40, Mustang Shelby GT350, 427 Shelby Cobra, Dodge Viper and many others.

The last place on Magda and Maciek's itinerary is the City of Angels. Los Angeles - the World Capital of Entertainment - is a cultural mecca, with over 100 museums, a simply ideal, mild climate, an excellent theatre and... culinary scene. It is also Hollywood - the center of the film industry, the palaces of Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, the original Disneyland, the Dodgers and Lakers and the birthplace of American surfing. Along the coast of Los Angeles, from Malibu to Long Beach, there are miles of sandy beaches, along which there are wonderful restaurants with a view of the ocean and trendy shops. Probably the most famous - Venice Beach, which has appeared in many films.

We hope that the photographic report of Magda and Maciek inspired you to go to road trip around the USA. If so, please contact us! We will be happy to prepare an unforgettable trip around the USA, full of interesting attractions!
